The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision.
On August 18, 2023, shortly after 12:00 a.m., the Manitoulin OPP responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Silver Lake Road in Robinson Township on Manitoulin Island.
The driver and only occupant of the vehicle, a 53-year-old person, from Dawson Township, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing with the assistance of the North East Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (T.I.M.E.) Team.
