On Saturday, August 13 th , 2024, shortly before midnight, Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Fire Service crews responded to a call of a residential garage fire in the 0 – 100 block of St. Andrew’s Terrace.
Upon arrival, there was visible smoke and flames from the detached garage structure. Fire crews were able to contain and extinguish the fire.
After further investigation, the fire was determined to have started in a vehicle parked in the garage. There is significant fire and smoke damage to the garage and vehicle. There were no injuries to report.
Thank god no one was injured
