Cheryl Marie Erb passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at the age of 73.
Predeceased by her husband, Wilton “Duke/Bill” (2013). She will be greatly missed by her daughter Jeannette Aikens (Richard). She was a proud and loving grammy of the late Craig Aikens, Joel Aikens, and Nicole Jagges (Steve).
Cheryl was the daughter of the late Omer and Jeanne Lalonde. Dear sister of Gary Lalonde, Brian Lalonde (Lucy) and the late Paul Lalonde (Jean). Survived by her sisters-in-law Margaret Chevrier and Viola Brandow (late Allan). She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to thank Debbie Scarfone and the team at Home and Community Care, Barb Forest from Seniors Mental Health as well as Cheryl’s PSW Lori for all their support over the last year. A very special thank you to Dr. Oliver and the amazing staff on 3B at the Sault Area Hospital for all the kindness, compassion, care and dedication given to Cheryl and her family.
As per Cheryl’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her Life will take place on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, from 7pm to 9pm at O’Sullivan Funeral Home. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
