Dip in state gas price average could bring some relief at the pumps

DEARBORN, Mich. – With the state gas price average declining 7 cents over the last week, drivers across the Michigan could notice a slight dip in the price at the pump this week.

AAA of Michigan as reported that drivers are now paying an average of $3.57 per gallon of regular unleaded gas. Despite the decrease in price, however, it is sitting slightly above the national average which is currently $3.53 per gallon.

Around the Upper Peninsula, the lowest average can be found in Gogebic and Menominee counties at $3.42 per gallon while the highest average can be found in Mackinac County at $3.79 per gallon.
