Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is requesting your assistance in identifying a suspect involved in using counterfeit money.
On 28 December 2023 at around 7:30 AM an unknown male entered a Circle K located on Wellington Street. The suspect attempted to pay for two coffees with a counterfeit US 100.00 bill. The clerk recognized the bill as counterfeit and immediately seized the bill and called the police.
This incident was caught on video surveillance.
