Coldest Night of the Year 2024

St. Vincent Place would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone in the community who made Coldest Night of the Year a success again in 2024!

Thanks to the hard work of their 44 team captains and more than 300 walkers, the event raised more than $138,000 to support St. Vincent Place’s transitional residence, soup kitchen, food bank, and Lunches for Learning program. This marks their most successful fundraiser ever, as well as the highest number of teams and walkers we’ve yet seen for CNOY.

St. Vincent Place would also like to say thank you to their many sponsors. “S&T Group came on board as our lead sponsor and RM Frolich was our rest stop sponsor. Our community sponsors this year were Assante Wealth Management, Avery Construction, BDO Canada, Dawson & Keenan, JD Aero, Maitland Ford Lincoln, McDougall Energy, Northern Insurance Brokers, Savoy’s Jewellers, Wishart Law Firm, and YNCU.” said Sara McCleary , Marketing Manager ,St. Vincent Place.

Other businesses and organizations that supported the event include Brohart Family Photography, Children’s Aid Society of Algoma, Cliffe Printing, Northwood Funeral Home, Perfectly Painted Faces, Sault Ste. Marie Museum, Soapy’z Auto Wash, and Starbucks.

“St. Vincent Place would also like to recognize the hard work of all our volunteers, including Jennifer Sarlo, who again acted as co-event director for Coldest Night of the Year. Without her dedication to our organization, this event would never have come to St. Vincent Place.” McCleary said in a release.

Thank you to everyone who took part in CNOY this year. We look forward to seeing you at next year’s event!
