On January 1, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 47-year-old Jesse Mattila with operation while impaired.
Around 1:00 a.m., officers patrolling Albert Street East saw a vehicle driving with no lights on and conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle. Upon speaking with the driver, who identified themselves as the accused, officers developed grounds to believe their ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.
The accused provided two breath samples into an Approved Screening Device, and both were above the legal limit. They were arrested. The accused was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court on February 5, 2024.
