Charged with Cruelty to Animals

On April 18, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 22-year-old Robert Crack with cruelty to animals and failure to comply with a probation order.

Around 9:00 a.m., 911 Communicators received a report of someone kicking, punching, and hitting a dog with a skateboard near the intersection of Wellington Street West and Carmen’s Way. Officers were dispatched to the area and located the suspect, who they identified as the accused. The accused was arrested, and the dog was seized and brought to a local humane society.

The accused is charged with:

  • Cruelty to Animals
  • Failure to Comply with Probation Order

The accused was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court on June 17, 2024.
