The Great Bucket List Challenge was started to encourage our community to live their dreams, all while
supporting ARCH Hospice and inspiring others! With the help of Algoma Steel Inc. and our amazing local
business owners, we are able to expand our dreams. The Great Bucket List Challenge has already had such
an impact on our community, encouraging people to get out of their comfort zone and try something
new. To see all our previous bucket lister and their stories visit thegreatbucketlistchallenge.com/stories

The Loft is a remarkably unique venue for performance, recording and special events. It is located
in the historic Algoma Conservatory Building, built in 1901. The soaring steel trusses, copper c lad
ceiling, bare brick walls, and heritage hardwood floors create a wonderfully natural sounding
acoustic experience that has to be heard to be believed. Every performance in this beautiful space
leaves the listener feeling as though they are wrapped up in the music like their favourite blanket.
The Comedics are a wacky group of doctors and associates “specialize” in keeping their audience in
stitches (non-surgical of course). In the past 27 years, this group has donated their time and talent to
events that have raised well over 2 million dollars for local charitable groups like Bon Soo Winter Carnival,
Canadian Red Cross, Relay for Life, Sault Area Hospitals, Sault Theatre Workshop, and the Alzheimer
Society to name a few.

“Laughter is truly the best medicine, but side effects may with any medicine. Accordingly, I must inform
you about the possibility of a red face, tears, sore cheeks, or a damp seat.” Shared Dr. Eugene Turgeon.
“We are so grateful for supporters like The Comedics. Their support creates a meaningful impact in the
lives of those we serve. This fundraiser allows us to create memories and care for the hundreds of
residents and family members we support each year. ARCH provides end-of-life care to thousands of
people and families in the Algoma region. It is an honour and privilege to work at ARCH, and we are so
thankful for our supportive community. Your support will continue to make an impact for years to come,”
said Julie Premo, Manager of Training and Coordination with ARCH.
