BONDARENKO, Barry Allan – April 24, 1958 – December 21, 2023 Passed away at home surrounded by loved ones after a tough battle with cancer. Devoted husband of Cheryl (nee Gardiner) for 43 wonderful years. Proud father of Rebecca (Shaun Coultis), Jon, and Rachel. Doting grandfather of Gage Coultis, Jacob Coultis, and Grace Coultis. Barry was the oldest son of the late Ernie, and Arlene Bondarenko. Older brother of David and Pattie (Mark Oja). He was deeply loved and will be missed by all, but especially by his nieces, nephews, and brother and sister in-laws on both sides of his family. His longtime friends will miss their coffee shop and fishing days.
Barry had a laugh that echoed joy throughout a room, and a happy disposition that brought smiles to those around him. An avid fisherman, guitarist, and outdoor enthusiast. He worked in Ironmaking at Algoma Steel for 36 years.
His family would like to extend special thanks to the Hernden family, ARCH, and Gran.
