Being Unlawfully in Dwelling House

Charges Laid

On May 21, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 42-year-old Angie Neshawabin with being unlawfully in a dwelling house and obstructing a peace officer.

Around 10:45 a.m., 911 Communicators received a report of someone unlawfully being in a vacant unit in a multi-unit residence building in the 200 block of McNabb Street. Although the accused had exited through a window and left the scene upon being noticed, officers located the accused nearby and placed them under investigative detention. During the initial investigation, the accused provided a false name to officers. Officers learned the accused’s real identity, and they were arrested.

The accused is charged with:

  • Being Unlawfully in Dwelling House
  • Obstruct Peace Officer

The accused was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court on July 22, 2024.
