In a report issued by the International Bridge Administration, one-way traffic crossings of the International Bridge, in August, totaled 114,096.
As per the the bridge administration’s number crunching, this total indicates an increase of 47.3% for the month as a part of the routinely active summer travel season between the two countries.
On August 31st, traffic for the calendar year-to-date totalled 636,059, a year-to-date increase of 72.2% in comparison to 2022, when numbers were down during the pandemic. .
On a statistical note, the bridge administration reported that the bridge has processed 105.1 million bridge crossings since its opening in 1962.
