On July 14, 2023, officers with Patrol Services charged 25-year-old John Tremblay with assault with a weapon, among other charges.
Around 6:00 p.m., 911 Communicators received a complaint about a disturbance in the 700 block of Great Northern Road. Officers were dispatched to the location. Upon arrival, security officers had the accused in custody.
Further investigation revealed when the accused had been asked to leave the premises, they threw a rock at a glass door of the building causing damage and swung a metal sign at staff members.
The accused was arrested and is charged with:
- Assault with a Weapon x2
- Mischief Under $5,000
- Failure to Comply with Probation Order
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on September 18, 2023.
