Adam punches instead of paying

On February 15, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 36-year-old Adam Combs with robbery.

Around 10:45 a.m., 911 Communicators received a report of a robbery at a business in the 0-100 block of Great Northern Road. It was reported the accused had attempted to leave the business without paying for several items and, when confronted, punched an employee twice before leaving the business. Officers were dispatched to the area and located the accused in the 0-100 block of Chapple Avenue. They were arrested.

The accused also had a warrant for their arrest in connection with an assault on December 31, 2023, where the accused punched someone known to them in the 0-100 block of Chapple Avenue causing minor physical injuries.

The accused is charged with:

  • Robbery with Violence
  • Assault
  • Failure to Comply with Probation Order x4
  • Failure to Attend Court as per Undertaking
  • Failure to Comply with Undertaking

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
