A most welcome Sunny Spring Saturday

After a rain-filled week, Saultites took advantage of the fun and 20 C temps Saturday to head outdoors.

Saturday marked a very successful sales day for PaperEssenceByNana. Manager Cornelia Barlow, right, says she had sold just about everything she brought to the downtown Sidewalk Sale event by 1 p.m. Here, Barlow assists shoppers Carole-Lynne Bryant and Pamela Heikkila.

Hundreds poured into the downtown core for Downtown Association events, including the Sault’s Longest Garage Sale and Spring Sidewalk Sale.

There was also the popular LopLops’ Festival of Beer, various food and drink specials and entertainment.

Spring fever and all kinds of fun.
