On September 28, 2023, officers with Patrol Services charged 25-year-old Devon Phillips with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Around 5:00 a.m., 911 Communicators received a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of Trunk Road. Upon arrival, officers noticed a person asleep in the driver’s seat and woke them up. They identified themselves as the accused. Officers found they were not complying with the conditions of their release order, and they were arrested.
A subsequent search found the accused to be in possession of approximately 13 grams of a substance believed to be fentanyl, approximately 17 grams of a substance believed to be crystal methamphetamine, and various drug paraphernalia. The total value of the drugs seized is more than $7,000.
The accused is charged with:
- Possession of Schedule I Substance for Purpose of Trafficking x2
- Failure to Comply with Release Order
The accused was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court on December 4, 2023.
