Health Canada has advised parents to discontinue the use of several styles of George brand baby sleepers for boys and girls sold at Walmart from last fall to this past summer. The George brand sleepers range from size 0-5T and are available in the following style numbers GRS30400IB, GRS30400TB, GRS30400IG, and GRS30400TG.
The George brand sleepers are available in Zipper pulls and foot grips. Repeated washing of these items may result in the removal of the zipper pull or foot grips, posing a choking and ingestion hazard.
These sleepers were sold from November 2022 through June 2023 and are available for a full refund at Wal-Mart stores. According to Health Canada, George brand sleepers were manufactured out of Bangladesh and sold in Hong Kong.
Consumers should immediately discontinue use of George brand sleepers and look for the style number on the collar of the sleepers to determine if it is included in the recall. Walmart Canada Corp. customer care can be contacted by telephone toll free, Monday to Sunday, 8 a.m.-11 p.m., ET
