“A beautiful day, all around,” says McIntosh, who hasn’t missed Community Day since moving to the Sault from Toronto 11 years ago.

“The turnout is good and the music and food are great. I really like the idea of the Hydration Station,” added Marshall.

RIBFEST

Non-stop action was the order of the day Saturday at Billy Bones BBQ. Ribfest is one of the more popular attractions during Sault Ste. Marie’s Rotaryfest.

Ribs Royale and Silver Bullet Bar-B-Q were busy food stations as well.

“Best day ever,” said Trenka, who was elated to be back performing in Sault Ste. Marie for the first time since 2019.
