It is with heavy hearts that our beautiful, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, auntie, cousin and friend Janice West was called to the spirit world on May 22, 2024. Janice had a beautiful smile, great sense of humor, loved by all that she encountered and had a
kind word for those that crossed her path.
Janice will be sadly missed, yet never forgotten by her husband Michael, children Jamie (Jenny) and Nadine, siblings Brenda, Darlene, Linda, Robert (Vicky) and Thomas (Rhonda), grandchildren Amyra, Sophie and Waverly, auntie of Dustin, Kandys (Evan), Christopher, James, Kevin and Morgan, great auntie to Katherine and Killian and lastly the fur babies that she adored. She had a special place in her heart for her precious Waverly and Katherine. Janice was always willing to lend a helping hand and had a
shoulder to lean on. She was a true blessing.
Our dear sister, we will always remember the support and love you showed us. It was a love that
shone through thick and thin. Your heart was always open with no judgment. The years made
you wise and your heart bigger. Our tears will shed as we feel the sorrow of our loss. It comforts
us to know that you are free from pain. The warmth of the sun will remind us how you embraced
us with open arms when times were tough. You will be dearly missed, never forgotten. Until we
meet again.
The family of Janice West would like to send a sincere thanks to all the nurses at Sault Area
Hospital, especially the ICU and the Cancer Clinic. An extended thanks to ARCH for the care and
support during this difficult time.
