(SABLES-SPANISH, ON) – Emergency Service’s responded to a medical call and located one person deceased.
On February 6, 2024, shortly after 9:00 a.m., members from the Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Manitoulin-Sudbury Paramedic Services and Sables-Spanish River Fire Department responded to a medical call on First Street, Sables-Spanish
A person, 26-years-of-age from Massey, was located deceased in the residence.
The Investigation is on-going with the Manitoulin Crime Unit under the direction of the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
A post mortem examination is scheduled at a later date in Sudbury.
There is no threat to public safety.
