Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital, surrounded by family on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at the age of 92.
Beloved husband of Mary (1982) and Brenda (2022). Loving father of Bill Richards (Nora), Deb Wiegand and Jason Bordeleau (Angie). Proud papa of 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Howard and Bessie and his sisters Ida Stearns (late Bud) and Shirley Dunn (late Jim). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Gerry was a crane operator at Algoma Steel for 35 years. He was a hockey goalie at the young age of 14 until the age of 83.
