It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jacques
at the FJ Davey Home on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at the age of 79. Beloved
husband of Laurencia (nee Loubier) for 57 years. Cherished father of Julie Wood-
Salomon (Daniel), Nancy (Mark Porpealia), late Roger (Pam) and Stéfan (Kerry).
Proud grandfather of Joshua Lapointe-Noël and Mackenzie Wood-Salomon.
Predeceased by his parents Adélard and Marie Anna Noël. Survived by his siblings
Elsie (Glenn), Lorraine and Noelle (late Will) and predeceased by Albert, Normand
(Annette), Edmond, Laurent (late Fernande), Rita (late Emme), Évangeline (late
Rhéal), Marcel (Myrella), Jean-Guy (Gisèlle) and Anita (late Fred). Son-in-law of
the late Joseph and Marguerite Loubier. Brother-in-law of the late Rhéal (late
Diane), Henry (late Caroline) and the late Gaëtan (Rachel Dovell). He will be
missed by his many nieces, nephews and extended family.
A private graveside service has taken place. Memorial donations to the Heart &
Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated by the
family. A heartfelt thank you to the FJ Davey Home Birch Lane 1 for the care and
