Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, June 14, 2024 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of Ray for 62 years. Cherished mother of Cheryl Shewfelt (Gary) and Robert. She will be missed by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Velma will be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends.
At Velma’s request, cremation has taken place, and no services will be held. Memorial donations to the Diabetes Association or the CNIB would be appreciated by the family.
