Peacefully at ARCH Hospice on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at the age of 89.
Loving wife of the late Grant Blackstock. Devoted mother of Douglas (Kathleen), Lynn (Sherri), and Steven (Cecilia). Proud grandmother of Christine (Sean), Michael (Samantha), Amanda, Ryan (Emily), Lee (Melissa), Richard and Stephanie (Mike). Special great grandmother of Cassandra, Riku and Tuomas. Dear sister of Frances Kettles, late Evelyn Smith (late Arnold), late Annie Cort, Shirley Deplonty (late Stan) and Harold Cort. Sister-in-law of the late Eleanor Perrin (late Ken). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Eva was a passionate life member of the UCW at Emmanuel United Church where she devoted a great deal of her time.
Friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel on Monday, June 12, 2023 from 6 pm to 8 pm. Funeral service to be held at Emmanuel United Church on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 10:30 am. Rev. Nancy Ferguson officiating. Interment Sands Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Emmanuel United Church, Accessibility Fund or ARCH Hospice or a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated.
