We are devastated to announce the unexpected passing of Frank on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at the age of 59.
Adored husband of Lori ( nee MacDonald). Proud father of Gregory (Harriet), Derek (Gabi), and Samantha (Anthony). Beloved son of Mario and the late Maria Battagin of Windsor. Deeply missed by his sisters Lorella Pavlovski (Vic) and Liliana Sheldon (Bill). Fondly remembered by his mother-in-law Betty MacDonald and her late husband Clayton, and brother-in-laws Dan MacDonald (Pat) and the late Chris MacDonald. Frank will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Frank grew up in Windsor, Ontario and later moved to Sault Ste. Marie after graduating from Sault College. It is here that he met his beloved wife Lori and together they built a home and raised their three children.
Frank loved the outdoors and spent countless hours playing on his many toys, working in the garage and hunting with friends. He was an avid biker and enjoyed his adventures on his Harley. Frank was a problem solver and took pride in his work as an electrician at S&T Group for 35 years.
He will be truly missed.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at Willowgrove United Church on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 11 am. with Rev. Helen Smith officiating. A come and go to celebrate Frank’s life to follow in the Fellowship Hall from 12 noon until 3 pm. Memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
